Jeff Cheng specializes in business, employment-based immigration, and corporate immigration compliance.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeff served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jon E. DeGuilio, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He also interned with a Fortune 500 company, where he focused on data privacy and compliance, and at a leading UK law firm, specializing in both domestic and international arbitration.

Jeff earned his J.D. cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2022. While in law school, he was the article editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy, and represented Notre Dame Law School in The 29th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court competition. He was also a Certified Student Intern at the Notre Dame Economic Justice Clinic.

Jeff is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).  Jeff is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
