Ning (Neil) Ding is an associate attorney at Z. Wang & Associates, P.C., where he focuses on family-based immigration, including family-based petitions, waivers, adjustments of status, and Naturalization applications. His practice also includes divorce.

Ning served as a judicial extern in the chambers of Judge Linnea E. Thompson of the State of Illinois, the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. Before law school in the U.S., he has experience working as a law clerk in the Second Intermediate People’s Court of Beijing, Real-estate Division. After that, Ning worked as a project manager at a leading multinational trading company in China and Southeast Asia involved in business strategy and compliance.  

Ning earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2018. While in law school, Ning received a Certificate in Financial Markets Compliance, and won the Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Award for the highest grade in his Legal Writing class. As a law student, Ning was an executive articles editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property, and an editor of Employee Rights and Employment Policy Journal. He also earned his LL.M. in International Human Rights from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in May 2014. Prior to law school in the U.S., Ning received his law degree from Northwestern Polytechnic University in China.

Ning is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. He is also admitted to the General Bar for the Northern District of Illinois and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Ning speaks Mandarin and English.
